El Capitan

"El Capitan" is a traditional Greek restaurant (Taverna - ταβέρνα - Gr.) with a splendid sea view for Porto Koufo bay that lies in front of you as on a palm. "Taverna El Capitan” was first opened on June 28, 1980. The restaurant is undoubtedly one of the spectacular sights of Chalkidiki with its own unique history. 

The interior design of the restaurant is quite simple - as a reflection of the story, a part of the owner's and entrepreneur's joint philosophy of reproducing the decor of a genuine traditional Greek Taverna as well as creating a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere for their guests. 

A Menu Book in English, Russian and Greek languages helps you choose the best dishes for you. Also, our staff talks English, Russian and Greek.
The experience and inspiration of our Mágeiras (μάγειρας - Gr. = Chef - En.) will not leave you indifferent. 

The main principle of the kitchen is to use only environmentally friendly ingredients: vegetables from our own garden and a variety of fresh food supply from our local producers.

 

Seafood dishes (fish, octopus, squid, shrimp etc) are among the best meals you can have in our Taverna.
